Los Angeles based hair and makeup artist Martine Le Blanc is known for her passion in the beauty industry, with over 10 years experience her sharp artistic eye and positive professional disposition continue to impress her clientele and win her new fans.

 

Martine was born in Toronto and raised in Orange County where she was heavily influenced by art, fashion and pop culture.  After receiving a BA in Communications. Martine worked in many facets of the  music industry before following her true calling in the world of beauty.

 

Her extensive freelance career as a freelance hair and makeup stylist includes working with many of the music industries finest, editorial work for Elle, GQ & VH1 and red carpet/press appearances.  When working freelance, Martine is driven by the collaborative process to create a common creative vision for the project.

In the salon, Martine believes that is all starts with an adept client consultation.  She is a precision cutter who specializes in curly hair textures.   Martine is also an expert colorist; being a color specialist allows her to create shimmering natural blondes, rich brunettes, and vibrant redheads.  She is known for her color correction skills and working with the client to create their dream hair!

 

Makeup, in Martine’s eyes should make the client feel simply beautiful; from natural glamour to colorful palettes.  Even if the shoot demands a more avant-garde feel, it should remain sexy and pretty. Martine always loves a challenge in creating a signature look.​
